Sungjoon Joh (Born 1957) is a South Korean artist whose work has been exhibited internationally. His practice engages contemporary painting, and he has been featured in solo exhibitions such as Time Speaks Gently (2012, Insa Gallery, Seoul) and earlier ones dating back to the 1990s. Joh’s pieces have been shown in venues in both Korea and the United States—including Boston—which suggests his work crosses geographic as well as stylistic boundaries.
