Janine Hoffman is a contemporary American artist based in Bradenton, Florida, best known for her bold, pop‑art–influenced portraits and sports‑theme colored‑pencil illustrations. She earned a BFA in Painting at Long Island University’s C.W. Post campus, but has always gravitated more toward drawing—especially dynamic, figurative work featuring athletes and cultural icons. Her style blends fine‑art drawing with the energy of illustration, often capturing the strength, grace, and expressiveness of her subjects with striking use of color and composition. Over time she expanded into digital painting, adopting a more minimal, graphic aesthetic inspired by comic‑book illustration and classic pop‑art, while still retaining a focus on human form and personality.
