François Jacques Boeri (1929–2004) was a French painter renowned for his expressive figurative works. Born near Paris, he studied Applied Arts at the École du Louvre, a prestigious institution affiliated with the Louvre Museum . Boeri's paintings, typically signed simply as "Boeri," are characterized by bold visual textures and a distinctive, somewhat naive perspective . His notable exhibitions include the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris in 1963 and the Exhibition of French Painters in Japan in 1969 . His works have been featured in auctions, with pieces like "Girl with Birds" and "Plage d'Été" achieving prices ranging from $225 to $3,000 . Boeri's art continues to be celebrated for its unique blend of color, texture, and perspective.
