Elisabeth Bazin is a contemporary French painter, illustrator and graphic artist born in Dinard, Brittany (around 1955) who trained at the École Régionale des Beaux-Arts de Rennes and initially worked in advertising and design before dedicating herself fully to painting in 2015. Her vibrant body of work—executed in acrylic, watercolor and pastel—celebrates seascapes, coastal light effects, daily life scenes, architecture and animal portraits, drawing on her lifelong connection to the sea and the landscapes of Brittany and beyond. Bazin’s art is characterized by a bright palette, lively brushwork and a sense of joy and well-being, and she published a richly illustrated book, Dinard, le regard d’un peintre, showcasing her evocative views of her hometown’s beaches, promenades and historic villas.
