Christine Leong was born in Hong Kong and grew up with a fascination for watercolors, creating images of classic Chinese motifs like koi, birds, and floral shapes. Her desire to explore Western themes and merge them with these images led her to emigrate to Camarillo, California in 2002, where she became part of SCIART Artists Studios and taught classes on ancient techniques. Today she continues to produce highly-sought works on rice paper and silk as well as wearable art that have appeared in exhibitions and galleries throughout the United States.
