He holds an MA from Teesside University and is known for energetic compositions that layer oil, acrylic and spray paint in abstract and action-style forms, occasionally incorporating figurative or animal elements into the dynamic visual field. Operating under the pseudonym Zero Gradient for his art and street work, Irving’s creative philosophy embraces the idea that creation often begins with disruption or transformation, engaging viewers to question preconceptions about art and reality while interacting with his immersive pieces.
