Zinman Furs was a furrier founded by Harry Zinman in 1920 in Merchantville, New Jersey, produced high-end furs, shearlings, and leather. In 1948 they had grown so much that they moved to a much larger location which eventually took up an entire city block on Admiral Wilson Boulevard in Pennsauken (now part of Camden). The business was owned by Ernest Robbins from 1963 to 1979 before being taken over by his daughter, Gail, both of whom made them nationally famous for advertising on TV game shows like The Price Is Right. In 2002 Dr. Corey K. Ruth purchased the company and rebranded it simply as “Zinman,” expanding the business to seven locations, including acquisitions of competitors like Lichtenstein Furs and Zhivago. However, economic downturns and the push against the use of real fur lead the company to close on March 31st, 2026 after over a century in business, though many of their pieces are still sought for their excellent quality and durability.
Small tear in material.
