Tono Stano (Born 1960) is a Slovak photographer renowned for his striking black-and-white images that explore the human body through dramatic composition, expressive movement, and sculptural use of light. Born in 1960 in what is now the Slovakia, he studied photography at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and became associated with the influential generation of Central European photographers that emerged in the 1980s.
