Robert Philipp (1895-1981) was an American Impressionist painter celebrated for his vibrant color and expressive brushwork in portraits, nudes, and urban scenes. Philipp exhibited widely, won numerous awards, and became a respected teacher, securing a lasting place in 20th-century American art.
