This is an oil on board by R Duncan, much in the style of the Florida Highwaymen. We don't know who the artist is - he was not part of the original group of Highwaymen artists - but the painting and style are very reminiscent of paintings by the Highwaymen. It shows a sunset reflecting on the water, possibly one of the backwaters around the Everglades. It is signed in the lower right; the overall size is 23 3/4 x 51 1/2 in. wide and the sight size is 19 1/2 x 47 1/8 in. wide.
