Michael Kuseske (b. 1950, Minnesota) is an American visual artist celebrated for his monumental, hyper‑realistic oil paintings of flowers. A former sign‑painter and licensed family therapist, he brings extraordinary technical precision and emotional depth to his work. By photographing blooms in direct sunlight and translating them into large-scale canvases, he captures vivid color, sculptural form, and drama. His signature gallery-wrapped, unframed style allows petals to leap off the canvas—earning his work the description “painting sculptures.” Residing in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Kuseske exhibits nationally and balances his creative pursuits with family life, faith, and authoring devotional books. Since 2001, he has dedicated himself fully to painting, drawing viewers into the dynamic beauty of floral form.
