The 1951 film Home Town Story features original US and UK title cards showcasing Marilyn Monroe's early role. Widely sought after by vintage cinema enthusiasts and Monroe fans because it features one of her earliest feature film roles. The Movie: Produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and sponsored by General Motors, the film starred Jeffrey Lynn, Donald Crisp, and a young Marilyn Monroe in a supporting role as an office secretary named Iris Martin. Because she was a minor star at the time, her image does not appear on every card in the standard 8-card lobby set. She is primarily featured on a few select cards alongside co-stars like Alan Hale Jr. ( Lobby card # 2 )
