Original 1963 20th Century Fox lobby card (No. 5, 63/120) for the documentary anthology Marilyn, featuring a scene from Monkey Business with Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant, and Charles Coburn.Released less than a year after Marilyn Monroe's death, Marilyn (1963) is an 83-minute documentary tribute produced by 20th Century Fox that celebrates the actress through a compilation of scenes from the films she made for the studio. Narrated by Rock Hudson, the film traces Monroe's rise from minor roles to international stardom, interweaving clips from such classics as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Bus Stop, and The Seven Year Itch with commentary on her screen persona. It also includes rare footage from the unfinished Something's Got to Give, making it one of the earliest and most significant cinematic memorials to Monroe and an important record of her career at 20th Century Fox.
