Lorna Griggs received her Bachelor Degree in Graphic Arts from University of Miami, but soon turned to fine art. Working mostly in watercolor, she lived in Aspen, Colorado for twenty years before moving to the Cayman Islands in the 1980s. Her beach scenes and images of island life have been very popular along the East Coast and can be found in collections of galleries, hotels, and cruise ships around the world. Although much of her work consists of miniatures, she enjoys doing larger work as well, and has had annual one woman shows in Grand Cayman since the 90s, with her work permanently on display at the Little Cayman Museum.
