Artist Biography:
José Royo (b. 1945) is a Spanish painter known for his luminous and impressionistic depictions of Mediterranean life. Born in Valencia, Royo began his artistic journey at a young age and later studied at the San Carlos Academy of Fine Arts. He is best known for his vibrant use of color and his ability to capture the play of light in his paintings, particularly in his portrayals of women, landscapes, and floral compositions.
