​Jordan Ivanov (born 1963) is a Bulgarian-born artist based in New Orleans, Louisiana, renowned for his abstract art and significant contributions to the city's Mardi Gras celebrations. He earned a Master of Fine Arts in Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since 2003, Ivanov has been a production artist for the Mardi Gras Festival, crafting and painting many of the floats that parade through New Orleans. His artistic repertoire includes abstract paintings and sculptures, often incorporating materials sourced from the Mississippi River's debris to create large-scale public artworks displayed both locally and internationally. Ivanov's work reflects the vibrant culture and dynamic environment of New Orleans, blending traditional techniques with innovative use of reclaimed materials.
