Jean Vollet (Born 1935) = is a French painter celebrated for his luminous Pointillist and Impressionist-inspired landscapes that capture the beauty of the French countryside and Mediterranean coast. Born in Montayral, France, on June 29, 1935, he studied lithography at the École d'Arts Graphiques in Bordeaux before moving to Paris in 1962 to devote himself to painting full-time. Beginning in 1964, he exhibited regularly at the Salon des Indépendants and later showed his work internationally in cities including New York, Tokyo, Beverly Hills, and Cannes. Vollet's paintings are distinguished by delicate, light-filled color harmonies and finely textured brushwork, drawing inspiration from artists such as Georges Seurat, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Camille Pissarro while maintaining a distinctive, idyllic vision of nature.
