Jean Cherie began her career working on fabrication and sculpting for Sid and Marty Krofft on their television programs. While still in her 20s, she began sculpting for Warner Brothers studios in Hollywood. From the homes of the live action “The Flintstones” film to the stone figures of the witches in “Hocus Pocus,” her work is lauded for its lifelike, highly-detailed quality. A long-time resident of Vallejo, California, she is currently developing an artist community, and has branched out from ceramic into bronze and stone sculptures as well.
