Italian Sterling Silver, Diamond, and Ruby Bastet Chess Set, 20th Century. Each piece marked 'Bastet Sterling 925 4/5'. Rubies for eyes in one group, diamonds for eyes in the other. All in fine condition, there are no missing gemstones. Chess pieces are hollow, not weighted. Limited edition 4/5. Chess set housed in a carrying case, does not include a chess board. 32 chess pieces in all, 28 pieces shaped as different cats, 4 shaped as cat towers. 16 pieces in lighter silver tone,16 in darker silver tone.
