The Gause piece is a print of two peregrine falcons high in the mountains, with the signature and date 1979 in the print lower right and signed and numbered 128/300 along the bottom.

Overall Size: 29 x 34 3/4 in.

Sight Size: 18 3/4 x 24 in.

Greg Biolchini was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1948, and his family moved to southwest Florida when he was four, where he was inspired by the natural beauty of the state and its mostly untamed interior. He studied at Ringling School of Art, apprenticed with David Phillip Wilson, and went on to found the Tower Gallery on Sanibel Island to showcase his works and those of other wildlife and landscape artists producing oils and pastels. Today he continues to work from his home studio in Bonita Springs, with many of his pieces in public, private, and corporate collections around the globe.

Charles Gause was born in Yakima, Washington in 1955, and exhibited a love for drawing and painting from an early age, inspired by the mountains, orchards, and pastureland that surrounded him in childhood. After moving to Alaska to work in construction in 1975, Charles fell in love with the unsurpassed beauty and uniqueness of the “Great Land,” and the immense state supplied him with endless artistic ideas to explore with watercolors, oils, and acrylics. Today he continues to live and work from his home studio in Anchorage, and his pieces are found in countless private collections as well as those of corporations like Cominico, Maersk-Sealand, Alaska Airlines, and ARCO.
