Her earliest works were done in the late 1960s in collaboration with her father, Camilio, and were signed with both their names before she became famous for her own intricately carved miniature redware and blackware featuring birds, wildlife, and flowers. Her work has won multiple awards at the Gallup Inter-Tribal Ceremonials, and found its way into countless public and private collections around the world, including at the White House and the Heard Museum.
