Hand-coiled ceramic vessel with a rounded, low-shouldered form and a small opening, featuring the classic terracotta color of unglazed, fired clay. It is decorated with traditional black pigment designs, including a repeating scallop or petal motif around the rim and a band of continuous scrollwork encircling the upper shoulder. Signed on bottom, G. Sandia, Jemez.
