Lalique is a French luxury glassmaker, founded in 1888 by the renowned jeweler and glass artist René Lalique (1860–1945). René Lalique gained fame for Art Nouveau jewelry before shifting to glass art such as perfume bottles, vases, and hood ornaments. After René’s death, his son Marc and later granddaughter Marie-Claude expanded into lead crystal works. Today, Lalique Group SA produces luxury jewelry, perfumes, and decorative items from its factory in Wingen-sur-Moder, France.
