Framed Museum Quality Wood Cutaway USS Balao Class Submarine. The USS Balao (SS-285) was the lead ship of the largest class of United States submarines, with 120 commissioned between 1943 and 1948. Signed York and dated 2000 near the front bow. A plaque in the same laser-cut wood below gives the name of the stunningly detailed vessel.

A cutaway ship model is a highly detailed scale replica that has a section removed to reveal the ship’s internal structure, machinery, and layout, providing a view of the hidden components not visible on a complete model.
