a) the Scarlet Tanager piece is a colored lithograph by Robert Bateman 1984, # 473 of 950 copies in the lower left margin, signed in the lower right margin, Bateman (1930 - ) is a Toronto and Canadian naturalist and painter, the frame is 18 3/8 x 24 3/4 and the image is 9 3/4 x 16 3/4 in. wide.
b) the Canadian Geese lithograph is by Maynard Reece 1972, a colored lithograph featuring a flock of Canadian Geese, # 825 of 950 copies in the lower left, matted and signed in the lower right margin, Reece (1920 - 2020) was an Iowa native renowned for his fish and waterfowl pieces and wildlife advocacy, he won the Federal Duck Stamp competition a record five times, the wooden frame is 20 3/4 x 26 1/2 and the image is 13 x 19 in. wide.
c) a colored lithograph of a pair of Black-capped Chickadees by Bruce Miller 1991, # 27 of 1160 copies (early in the run) in the lower left margin, matted and signed by Miller in the lower right margin, birch trees are a favorite habitat of black-capped chickadees, the frame is 24 1/2 x 21 1/2 and the image is 15 3/4 x 12 3/4 in. wide.
d) the lithograph of the burrowing owl by Michael McNelly, 1980’s or 90’s, is a black and white lithograph, # 169 of 500 copies, matted and signed in the lower right, McNelly graduated from art school in 1976 and illustrated for the National Wildlife Federation, the Jacques Cousteau Society, and the Nature Conservancy, the black frame is 18 3/4 x 18 3/4 and the image is 13 x 13 in. square
e) the Dragonfly watercolor is by Rita Rust, undated, Rust is a Sarasota artist known for her watercolors of seascapes, beach scenes, flora and fauna, and plein air landscapes, in a white frame, the frame is 17 3/4 x 21 3/4 and the image is 10 1/2 x 13 1/2 in. wide.
