Condition: Minor chips, including a larger one on the woman's eyebrow.

Dino Bonalberti was born in Roncoferraro, Italy in 1928, and he became infatuated with art when his parents began taking him to see the crafts at the Milan Fair. He studied at the Academy Albertina where he received his degree in fine arts and was made chairman of the Committee of Beautiful Arts in Lombardy, as well as obtaining Honorary Degrees from Sassari and the 500 Academy of Rome later in life. His whimsical porcelain works in the Capodimonte style made him internationally famous, and he is also renowned for his larger sculptures of Pope Giovanni in the square of San Gregorio, Bergamo as well as for creating the monument to the Dead Soldier in Inverigo, Como, where he continues to live to this day.
