He studied at the Ringling School of Art and Design and apprenticed with illustrator Ben Stahl, later teaching at institutions such as the University of Florida and Florida International University. Rubadoux's career spans several decades, with notable exhibitions at museums like the Ringling Museum of Art and the Lauderdale Museum of Art. His works have been commissioned by public institutions, including the University of Central Florida and Palm Beach International Airport. Throughout his career, Rubadoux’s art has been influenced by his travels to places like Italy, France, and Argentina, where he was inspired by the Tango.
