After training in Los Angeles, she spent three decades as a successful fashion illustrator before transitioning to a flourishing career as a fine artist. Her work radiated warmth, capturing the beauty in everyday moments and youthful energy, which made her paintings and sculptures widely popular. Over her six-decade career, Hartley produced hundreds of original works and over 30 limited-edition bronze sculptures, with her pieces held in prestigious collections.
