Depicts bright flowers and grassy accompaniments in a tall cylindrical vase on a table next to three lemons, with blue and gold wallpaper behind it. Signed bottom right. A yellow envelope attached to the back contains a biography of the artist from the Plaza Galleries in Canada, along with a certificate of authenticity dated 22.04.2000 that gives the title "Pot de Fleurs Sur Divan."

Christian Pierre Ricordi was born in Nimes, Frances on November 6th, 1941, and spent his youth studying graphic arts, journalism, and film, winning the National French Award for a short film in 1971. He moved to Montmartre in 1973 to paint, returning to Nimes in 1975 for his first exhibition. He spent two years traveling the world absorbing inspiration from many styles and art forms before holding more shows in France and Canada, and he continues to produce new work to this day, with his original paintings and prints in public, private, and corporate collections all over the world.
