Candice Ronesi is a contemporary Cape Cod painter originally from upstate New York who has lived on the Cape since 2001 and is inspired by its distinctive light, shadows, hidden paths, and coastal architecture. Working in acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and oil, she captures intimate scenes of beaches, boats, cottages, and everyday New England vistas, and her work reflects a lifelong passion for art that she began pursuing seriously after moving to the region in 2004. A juried artist member of the Cape Cod Art Center and participant in groups such as the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Falmouth Artists Guild, Yarmouth Art Guild, Sandwich Arts Alliance, and South Cape Artists, Ronesi’s paintings have been exhibited throughout Cape Cod and are held in local collections and galleries.
