C. Jere Metal Sculpture. Titled "Raindrops" Signature on reverse. Consists of numerous metal discs affixed by thin wires to central metal strands. Created in 1975.

Curtis Jeré (often written C. Jere) was a metalwork company known for wall sculptures and decorative objects, producing works that ranged from representational to abstract under the umbrella of Artisan House. The Curtis Jeré name was a nom de plume created from the names of founders Jerry Fels and Curtis (Kurt) Freiler, who established the company in California in 1963 with the goal of creating “gallery-quality art for the masses,” following earlier success in costume jewelry sold as Renoir and Matisse. Their brass and copper works were widely distributed through Raymor in the late 1960s; Artisan House was sold in 1972, production later moved to China in 2003, and Freiler continued pursuing a revival of their signature techniques until his death in 2013.
