Brian Haverlock is an American artist and educator serving as an adjunct professor at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from East Carolina University and a Master of Arts in Theology from Washington Theological Union. Haverlock's artwork, characterized by intricate drawings and collages, often explores themes of iconography, theology, and mythology. His pieces have been exhibited in various solo and group shows, including "Godseeker: A Return to Origins" at Greene Contemporary in Sarasota. In 2008, he received the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, recognizing his contributions to the visual arts. Beyond his artistic practice, Haverlock is a founding member of s/ART/q, a Sarasota-based artists' collective aimed at promoting contemporary art in the region.
