Brahma is the Hindu god of creation, serving as the first member of the Trimurti (trinity) alongside Vishnu and Shiva. As the creator, he is associated with knowledge and the Vedas, often depicted with four heads. His consort is Saraswati, the goddess of learning, and he is traditionally depicted holding the Vedas, a mala (prayer beads), a kamandalu (water pot), and a ladle, traveling on a hamsa (swan or goose). Brahma is rarely worshipped today compared to other Hindu deities, with very few temples dedicated solely to him in the modern world.
