Andrey Bishop (born June 9, 1921, in Tahlwil, Switzerland) is a Swiss-born American artist known for her landscape, seascape, and portrait paintings. At sixteen, she immigrated to the United States and studied art, architecture, interior design, and painting at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art, graduating in 1932. She further developed her skills at the Wayman Adams Studio in Elizabethtown, New York, under the guidance of artists like Stanley Turnbull and Leonard Richmond. Specializing in watercolor, Bishop trained with noted American watercolorists such as James Carlin, Avery Johnson, and Henry Gasser. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of numerous professional art organizations, including the American Artists Professional League.
