After Paul Edouard de la Brierre (1829-1912) French, Bronze Horse on Marble Base. 

​Paul-Édouard Delabrierre (1829–1912) was a French animalier sculptor renowned for his realistic and dynamic representations of animals. Born in Paris, he initially pursued painting under Jean-Baptiste Delestre but later shifted to sculpture. Throughout his career, Delabrierre exhibited 70 sculptures at the Salon, the prestigious Parisian art exhibition. One of his notable works, "L'Équitation," adorns the facade of the Louvre Museum. Delabrierre's legacy endures, with his sculptures remaining highly regarded among collectors and art enthusiasts.​
