(7) Cut to Clear Glass Drinkware. Lot comprised of seven cut to clear colored glass items in various rich colors. Six drinking goblets with stoppered drink decanter. With clear-cut floral, foliate, and geometric designs.

Cut-to-clear glassware is a striking decorative technique in which layers of colored glass are expertly cut away to reveal a clear crystal base beneath, creating intricate patterns and dramatic visual contrast. Often associated with Bohemian and European glassmakers of the 19th and early 20th centuries, this method was typically used in the creation of goblets, vases, decanters, and bowls. The richly hued overlays—commonly in ruby, cobalt, emerald, or amethyst—are deeply incised with geometric, floral, or starburst designs that catch and refract light beautifully. Cut-to-clear glassware remains highly collectible for its craftsmanship, vibrant elegance, and timeless decorative appeal.
