Janet Edna Greenleaf (1916-2003) was an American artist born in Indiana who moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in her late teens. Early in her career, she became known for her oil floral still lifes, exhibiting with the Art Associates of New York City in the 1940s. After marrying and changing her name to Janet Judge, she lived and exhibited throughout New England. In her later years, she returned to San Francisco, where severe arthritis caused her to abandon oils and focus on watercolor California landscapes.
Commensurate with age.
