(3) Pavel Trnka (Born 1948) Czech, Glass Triangles Sculptures "Rainbow". Made up of three solid-colored triangles in pink, blue, and green, one larger and the other two the same size. 

Largest Size: 4 x 5 1/2 in. 

Pavel Trnka was born in Poděbrady, Czechoslovakia in 1948, and was drawn to art early, graduating from the High School of Applied Arts in 1967 and the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague before becoming a teacher at the Second School of Decorative Arts in glass carving. He became world-renowned after his first exhibitions in 1973, traveling throughout Europe, Asia, and America teaching glassmaking, with his paintings, sculptures, and glassworks in countless museums and collections today.
