Born in San Diego in 1949, Steven V. Correia is an American glass artist who established Correia Art Glass with his wife Patricia in 1973, gaining renown for reviving the iridescent lustre techniques of Louis Comfort Tiffany. His hand-blown masterworks are featured in premier permanent collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Corning Museum of Glass. In his later career, Correia expanded his artistic scope to create large-scale environmental kinetic light sculptures and multimedia performance art from his studio in Santa Monica, while his children continue to operate the family glasshouse.
Born in Manhattan in 1951, Stephen Fellerman discovered his passion for art glass in 1972 before establishing his influential first glass studio in Kent, Connecticut, the following year. Renowned for his iridescent, Art Nouveau-inspired handblown creations, he later relocated to Maui, Hawaii, where he continues to blow glass alongside his son, Jason. Fellerman’s masterworks are celebrated in premier institutions nationwide, including the Corning Museum of Glass, the Chrysler Museum of Art, and the White House Art Archives.
