(2) Jan Johansson (1942-2018) Swedish, Orrefors "Fleur" Crystal Bowls. Beautiful sharp scalloped edges with a flat base, made to emulate a bloomed flower. Both have original labels attached to the side. Both signed on the underside, the larger piece more thoroughly.

Jan Johansson (1942-2018) was a Swedish silversmith and glass designer who studied at the University of Arts & Crafts (Konstfack) in Stockholm. His career began as a designer at AGA before moving to Orrefors in 1969, where he designed bowls, vases, candlesticks, and sculptures for the next thirty years. His work is associated with modern clean shapes as well as cut crystal, demonstrating his contribution to the evolution of the famous glassworks. His pieces can be seen at the Linköping Cathedral and Vadstena Abbey in Sweden, and are in collections of the National Museum in Stockholm, the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, and the Museum för Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg, Germany. His personal barware collection, Street, launched in 2006, and is still available through Orrefors.
