Young & Constantin glass refers to the vibrant, hand-blown studio art glass created by American artists Kathleen Young, born 1954, and her late husband, Chris Constantin, who was born in 1957. Operating their North River Glass business and gallery in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, they produced highly collectible, signed, and colorful pieces, including vases, bowls, and centerpieces, primarily in the 80s and 90s. Constantin died suddenly and tragically at the age of 44 in 2001, and Young continued to run the gallery and make new pieces until deciding to retire in 2018.
