This is an attractive watercolor and pencil sketch by Willem van Konijnenburg, a highly influential Dutch painter who was also an illustrator, grapher, and etcher.. He trained at an art academy in the Hague and painted a number of landscapes in the style of the Barbizon School, which strove for realism in art.
The overall size is 21 x 17 in. wide and the sight size is 12 3/4 x 10 1/4 in. wide.
