William Staveley is a British Old Masters artist who was born in the 18th Century. The maker's first piece to be offered at auction was "3 WORKS, PORTRAITS OF SIR WILLIAM FORBES, 6TH BT. (1739-1806); SIR WILLIAM FORBES, 7TH BT. (1773-1828); AND LT. COLONEL HAY" at Sotheby's London in 2017 which sold for 37% above mid-estimate.
