William Grimaud was born in 1942 in Glasgow, Scotland. He studied art at many institutions including the University of Edinburgh, the Slade School in London, the Sorbonne in Paris, and The Studio in Spain where he honed his skills in painting and drawing. He continues to use a Post-Impressionist style heavily influenced by the Fauves and Cubists to create still lifes and landscape paintings that hang in galleries throughout Great Britain and in private collections around the world.
