Wick Knaus (b 1928) American, Golden Gate EtchingWick Knaus (American b. 1928) Golden Gate Etching "Ft. Point" Signed, titled, and numbered in pencil 8/10. A view of the Golden Gate Bridge at the entrance to San Francisco Bay from the fort. Wick Knaus was born in Goshen, Connecticut, andreceived his BFA at the Hartford Art School. By 1980 he had settled in San Francisco where he soon was painting street scenes. His paintings and etchings have been shown at the Connecticut Academy, National Academy of Design, and ButlerArt Institute. Overall size: 21 5/8 x 17 5/8 in. Sight size: 9 1/2 x 12 1/2 in.
