Webster Weighted Sterling Silver Trumpet Vase. Vintage, trumpet-shaped silver vase featuring a flared rim with decorative bands, vertical panel detailing along its slender body, and a circular, weighted pedestal base. Marked on base.

Size: 12 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 in. 

Webster Sterling is sterling silver made by the Webster Company, an American silversmith founded in Massachusetts in the late nineteenth century. The “Webster Sterling” mark identifies items made from sterling silver, which contains 92.5 percent pure silver, and appears on products such as flatware, baby gifts, hollowware, and decorative household pieces. Webster became well known for producing quality silver items that combined practical use with decorative design, and pieces bearing the Webster Sterling hallmark remain widely collected and traded in the antiques and silver market today.
