Warren Brandon (1916-1977). American, oil on canvas signed and dated in the lower right. Mid 20th C Signed Abstract landscape. Brandon was a California painter who studied at Milligan College. In the 1950s and 1960s, he cruised the Pacific Ocean on the Matson Line teaching on ships, as well as in Hawaii. In 1964, he was one of four Americans named "Life Fellows of Britain's Royal Society of Artists." He also founded the San Francisco artist cooperative.
