Vladimir Pentjukh (also spelled Pentjuh or Pentiukh, born 1965 in Penza, then part of the Soviet Union) is a contemporary Eastern European painter known for lyrical landscape scenes rooted in the traditions of the Russian and Ukrainian realist schools. After early training at the Penza Art College, he continued his studies at the Kharkov Art and Design Institute, where he specialized in easel painting and refined his distinctive approach to landscape. Working primarily in oil, Pentjukh is recognized for richly textured brushwork, strong compositions, and a sensitive treatment of light and color, often depicting rural villages, forests, rivers, and fields at sunrise or sunset. Influenced by the legacy of classical landscape masters such as Isaac Levitan and other Russian impressionists, his paintings emphasize the quiet poetry of everyday countryside life. Pentjukh has exhibited in regional, national, and international exhibitions, became a member of the Union of Artists of Russia in 1996, and his works are held in museums and private collections across Europe, Russia, and the United States.
