Born in San Francisco, CA on March 12, 1904. Artistically inclined at an early age, Goddard won a children's coloring contest at age four. She studied at UC Berkeley, CSFA, Los Angeles Art Institute, ASL of NYC, Simi Studio in Italy, and Grande Chaumiére in Paris. She often spent five months of each year in her studio on the Costa del Sol in Spain. She was active as an artist until her death in San Francisco on Dec. 1, 2005. Her oeuvre includes portraits, figures, and still lifes in watercolor, oil, pen & ink, and pastel. Member: SWA. Exh: Oakland Art Gallery, 1939; Spain.
