Habersham Plantation is a luxury American furniture and custom cabinetry company, founded in Clarksville, Georgia in 1969 by Joyce Eddy first as an antique store before expanding significantly three years later. They are known for their heirloom-quality, Old World-inspired pieces featuring rich finishes, hand-painted art, and distinctive aging processes that give them a unique, well-loved look, blending classic European styles with functional comfort for a “whole home” concept in kitchens, baths, and living spaces. Since expanding their primary factory in Toccoa, Georgia in 1998 they focused on creating unique, detailed, and long-lasting furniture with artisanal craftsmanship, committing to the old-fashioned process established in the 18th and 19th Centuries rather than outsourcing to other countries, and after Eddy retired in 2016 and passed control of the company to her son Matt Eddy Sr. they delved into online sales, a crucial step to surviving and thriving after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
